Groundbreaking Sarana dan Fasilitas Bunker Penunjang TBBM dan Peresmian Jalur Pipa Gas PT Pertamina (Persero)
In December 2020, we were entrusted by the national energy enterprise to plan and manage their groundbreaking ceremony for supporting bunker facilities at the Kuala Tanjung Multipurpose Terminal, as well as the inauguration of a gas pipeline in Kuala Tanjung Regency, North Sumatra. The brief required us to create an event that showcased the client's infrastructure milestones as symbols of national energy resilience. Despite the remote location and the logistical challenges of coordinating a high-stakes B2B event outside Jakarta, our priority was to deliver a polished and technically informed experience that inspired confidence among government officials, the client's leaders, and local stakeholders.
Our objective was twofold. First, we needed to showcase the technical sophistication of the client's new energy infrastructure, both the bunker support facilities and the gas pipeline, through an immersive visual and experiential narrative. Second, we aimed to demonstrate that such an event could be seamlessly executed in a relatively isolated location without compromising professionalism or production value. By integrating branded presentation materials, high impact staging, and precise ceremonial choreography, we sought to elevate the client's narrative of synergy and national energy advancement for its stakeholders.
At the venue, we designed a crisp red carpet welcome area that led into a gallery of informative panels, meticulously detailing projections of bunker facility components, pipeline supply and demand maps, and system diagrams. The gallery allowed attendees to immediately immerse themselves in the client's infrastructure narrative. The central marquee featured an expansive LED video wall flanked by national flags and lush planted sand arrangements, framed by wheelbarrows and gold-tipped shovels adorned with red ribbons. These physical props echoed the groundbreaking theme and created dynamic photo opportunities. Our production schedule coordinated a compelling sequence that included welcome remarks, an MC-led narrative on the project's significance, and the dignified scoop of sand by key representatives. This tasteful ceremonial staging was executed with safety-certified gear and clear choreography, underscoring both gravitas and meticulous attention to detail.
The client expressed high admiration for the event's professional execution and authentic atmosphere. Attendees, including company executives and local leaders, praised the seamless integration of technical exposition and ceremonial flair. The structured informational displays fostered meaningful conversations around energy infrastructure plans, while the dignified groundbreaking moment delivered strong visual and symbolic impact. This ceremony now serves as a signature showcase of how we elevate our clients' narratives through precision logistics, thoughtful storytelling, and compelling environmental design, even hundreds of kilometers from the capital.
